Shortly after graduating in the spring of 1971 with degrees in business management and political science from San Diego State University, I scheduled a visit with a family member living in Squaw Valley. A short, two week trip turned into staying on for the summer and the coming ski season. After experiencing the changing seasons in that first year and what each offered in terms of outdoor activities and beauty, I decided to make Tahoe my home.

The opportunities for professional development were immediately available and I was fortunate to acquire a body of work experience that includes management of one of Truckee's premier restaurants, facilities supervisor for Incline Village General Improvement District, Marketing/Sales with a local technical company and various construction crews, building homes in the Tahoe Truckee area from start to finish.

With the above work experiences and education I have developed a well balanced skill set and knowledge base that has led to a successful real estate career that provides my clients the advantage they deserve. One of my most important goals is to provide my clients the best real estate services possible. To that end I utilize the most cutting edge industry technology, study market conditions daily, employ proven marketing techniques and leverage my practical knowledge of home construction. Another of my priorities that I work hard at, is to effectively negotiate for my clients to assure I help them meet their objectives. I specialize in working with both Buyer's and Seller's of residential homes and building sites in the Truckee area and the North & West Shore Lake Tahoe.

In my fifth year of real estate sales, I find myself surrounded by a Century 21 team of successful professionals. In my early days here, I was attracted to the mountain lifestyle because of the outdoor adventure the area offers - hiking, downhill skiing, skate skiing, mountain biking, lakes & rivers and views. I was able to share many of these adventures with my sons, Tyler and Brandon, who grew up in the Truckee community and are now pursuing professional careers of their own.

The outdoor adventures continue to be an active part of my lifestyle and in particular, hiking the many trails in the area. After more that 30 years of getting to know the backcountry, I am very familiar with many of the trailheads and best places to see.
